WSIB Claims For Work Injury Treatments
When a workplace injury occurs the Workers’ Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) may get involved. For workplace injury cases, the claims procedure involves steps that a worker must follow in order to receive benefits.
- Report the injury to your employer as soon as possible and if necessary, seek medical attention.
- Fill out the necessary forms to make a workplace injury claim- forms can be found on the WSIB website or with your employer.
- Submit the completed forms to the WSIB, along with any supporting documents, such as medical reports.
