Personal Experience

I dedicate my education and academic growth to health and wellness, as I’ve experienced first-hand the positive impact that physical activity can have on a person’s day-to-day life. I graduated with honors in 2020 from the University of Guelph holding a B.Sc in Human kinetics, and I am currently enrolled at the CMCC to pursue a career in chiropractic. After attaining my Registered Kinesiologist delegation in 2020, I have been working in multidisciplinary clinics to provide health care in an integrated setting. As of now, I have clinical experience treating individuals of all ages for both acute and chronic conditions. I believe in a patient-centred, evidence-based approach when assisting others in reaching their health and wellness goals. Since I believe that patients should also be in control of their recovery, I motivate them to participate in their care through education, ergonomic advice as well as self-care/pain management strategies.

I pride myself on being bilingual, providing me with the capabilities to serve as many people as possible in both English and Arabic. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, playing or watching basketball and playing video games. Clinically, I have a special interest in providing guidance with mindful movement and behavior patterns in combination with rehab exercises. My experiences and skills include in-home exercise rehabilitation services, personal training sessions, athletic taping, hydrotherapy and clinical experiences in a physiotherapy setting.
